Ask the Chef! 2010 in Review!

I just love stats, and I took a few minutes to look at them today:

So, what are you digging about my site? What do you/don’t you want to see? Let me know about it in the comments!

So have you decided to keep this site and just write several subjects? If you’re starting to get established in the blogging community I can see where rebranding would be a pain, and a risk.

I’m one of those that loves the method more than the recipe. The recipes are great, but knowing how they work is better for me because I can improvise when I’m short on certain ingredients. The Ratio and The Flavor Bible are my favorite books. And, of course, the autographed Well Done Chef! book, but I don’t know when that will be released. : )

I’m not diabetic, so those news items don’t pertain to me as much. However, the fitness and healthy eating are for everyone, so I always check out new posts regardless of the title. I may not comment on everything, but I’m here almost daily.

    How’s the new job?

@Mike – Thanks! Yah, I decided to keep the one site, as it would be too difficult after spreading out the brand… the new job is going well.. Almost too good to be true. Thank you for the kind words, I will use your feedback well!

i love to hear about mistakes, so i can learn from them. i think more bloggers should show us their fails (myself included).
also love to hear about techniques for pastry making. don’t know if everyone wants to hear that because i don’t know what your audience is. my audience is mostly people who want quick and easy meals that are healthy. funny because i rarely do healthy. i should change that for sure. but i do have a couple of chefs following me who love to see what crazy concotion i come up with. you dig?

@vanillasugarblog – I totally hear you! Fails… where to start? LOL. I am sure that I could possibly rustle up a few here and there. LOL.
As for my audience? Most the people that I see clicking (not commenting mind you) are people that would like to know my “secrets.” (There’s another oxymoron there!) The trouble is, I don’t feel like I have any!
I love your concoctions as well, even if I could not try them out… gotta maintain my blood sugar, see? LOL
