Here is a quick update to the Tomato and Basil Project.
Today our friends Mr. Bazile, Pomo, Doro, and Mr. Waters all received haircuts and a beautiful 500 mL GenPack of Tomato Food.
Some might quip that I left the clipped leaves on the floor of the planter. I did it so there would be a natural mulch, and to add nutrients while they break down.
Or. I’m lazy.
Anyway, we planted this pot extremely late (July 20th) and it seems to be producing well. Here’s to hoping there will be more in the month to come. (The yellow flowers are in bloom…)
