Last time an Aunt gave me a bucket of ugly pears, I made pear butter.
It turned out pretty well, and maybe I was the only one who really liked it.
Now I’ve got another batch of pears, and I’m thinking about trying something different. You know—something that works with pork chops, yogurt, steel-cut oats, or even my nightly piece of toast.
I’m not quite sure what it’s going to look like yet, but I’ve got pears, a kitchen, and a few ideas.
